There are times when reviewing that you are really pleasantly surprised and these Heat Holder thermals was one of them. Even though the weather has been mild, we have been able to put them through some challenging tests, and they came through with flying colours.
So what did we have; thermal tops, bottoms and Graham Bell socks which survived some grim challenges which included caving, kayaking, and some night activities on the Brecon Beacons.
In all honesty, it was difficult to find anything we didn’t like about these thermals. They are durable, provided excellent breath ability and temperature regulation, look good, and are totally versatile. They are much less expensive than some other thermals they prove that price is not everything. These are the base-layers to buy without breaking the bank!
This is an ongoing review, so expect plenty more updates as we put them through their paces in some extreme environments …
